Placed Based Workshop for South Coast Educators

Program Details

Join us for an immersive program to learn about Coastal Sand Barrier Lake Formations.  Begin the day with guided explorations of Floras and Garrison Lakes to deepen your understanding of  local culture, place, and outdoor education possibilities. We will wrap up at the Port Orford Field Station, with time to reflect on the day’s learning and consider applications for your classroom practice. An optional informal gathering will follow the program with appetizers provided.  Participants are eligible for a stipend of up to $100 for completing the workshop.
