May Mini-Grants Support STEM on the Coast
Educators receive funding to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Math learning on the coast
This spring, the Oregon Coast STEM Hub solicited proposals from educators in our region for mini-grants (up to $500) that would be used to purchase materials to engage learners in STEM. The mini-grant opportunity was announced in mid-April, and successful proposals were announced in the first week of May during "STEM Week Oregon". The Hub received six times more applications than we were able to fund this year. We hope to have additional mini-grant opportunities in the future.
For those who remain in need of STEM materials, please visit the funding sources page on this website for links to other entities that may be able to support your needs. Also, explore the STEM Hub resource trailers to see if there are materials available that you would like to borrow for up to two weeks.
