This FREE event is sponsored by Afterschool Alliance and is designed for youth, parents, grandparents, care-givers and everyone else interested in helping to promote summer learning. Did you know, 88% of teachers say summer learning programs are important to student success? Spend the afternoon learning about various summer learning resources available on the central Oregon coast. The event will feature games, balloon art, and many interactive booths from local organizations.

Online Summer Opportunities

  • Maker Camp - Free online summer camp from Google and Make for building, tinkering and exploring, online and in your neighborhood - Ages 13-18
  • NASA Girls & Boys - Students in Grades 5-8 are matched with NASA mentors and engage in learning activities with them online for 1 hour each week for 5 weeks. Applications selected by lottery.
