Access To STEM Education Materials

Last year, the Oregon Coast STEM Hub asked teachers and informal educators what they needed to make STEM learning meaningful and successful for their students.  Educators shared that they needed access to more STEM materials, so the Oregon Coast STEM hub purchased trailers and stocked them full of materials. The trailers include rain boots, Vernier equipment, microscopes, scales, magnet kits, ROV kits and more.

The trailers are located in Coos Bay, Newport and Warrenton. In-school and out-of-school K-14 educators on the Oregon Coast may borrow materials at no cost. Choose the trailer nearest you and click on the link to access the checkout system. Create a user account, and once you are approved you may explore the inventory and request materials. For more information, contact OregonCoastSTEM@oregonstate.edu
